Methodological Foundations of Pedagogical Support for Musical Training in Piano Class for Students of Chinese Universities

As higher education reform in China continues to advance, universities are paying more attention to the comprehensive development of talents, which has led to a gradual rise of piano teaching in Chinese universities. However, since university piano education in China is still in its developmental stage and influenced by various factors, there are still many issues to be addressed, such as outdated teaching concepts. Therefore, this article, based on a thorough discussion of the background of piano teaching in China, explains the importance of piano education in universities, deeply analyzes the current situation of university piano teaching, identifies the existing problems, and finally proposes suggestions for improving the level of piano teaching in Chinese universities, aiming to provide a reference for promoting the development of piano education in Chinese higher education.

Platform-Enabled AI Adoption and Supply Chain Resilience in Chinese SMEs: an Integrated Theoretical Framework

Artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly reshaping the global supply chain landscape. However, the mechanism through which Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), under resource constraints, acquire AI capabilities through digital platforms and transform them into supply chain resilience has not been adequately theorized. This paper develops an integrated theoretical framework that combines the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework with dynamic capability theory. It proposes the analytical concept of “platform-enabled AI adoption" to characterize the distinctive technology adoption pattern through which Chinese SMEs acquire, integrate, and utilize AI capabilities via external digital platforms. Using a literature review and case analysis approach, and drawing on the 2025 survey report of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, publicly available operating data from the 1688 platform and Haizhi Online, and relevant academic literature from the past decade, this paper systematically analyzes three mediating pathways through which platform-enabled AI adoption affects supply chain resilience: supply chain visibility, supply chain agility, and supply chain collaboration. It further discusses the moderating roles of technological readiness and organizational readiness in this relationship and offers methodological suggestions for future empirical research. This paper provides a theoretical foundation for understanding the relationship between AI adoption and supply chain resilience among Chinese SMEs in the digital platform context and offers testable research propositions for subsequent empirical examination.

AI Implementation and Business Model Innovation in Chinese SMEs: a Configurational Research Framework

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly regarded as a critical enabler of business model innovation (BMI) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). However, existing research predominantly examines the net effect of AI adoption on BMI, overlooking the complex interactions among technological, organizational, and environmental conditions. Drawing on the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) framework integrated with dynamic capabilities theory, this study develops a configurational research framework for investigating how AI implementation combines with organizational capabilities and environmental conditions to drive BMI in Chinese SMEs. The framework proposes four theoretically grounded pathways to high BMI: technology–organization synergy, environment-pulled innovation, market-driven AI integration, and capability-first substitution. These propositions demonstrate that AI implementation is neither necessary nor sufficient for BMI; its effectiveness depends on alignment with dynamic capabilities and environmental support. The framework contributes to the AI–BMI literature by advancing a configurational perspective and offers a foundation for future empirical investigation using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA).
